Funding Opportunities
Public Outreach Grants: Workshops and Conferences (Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council) deadline is November 28, 2011.
Great Lakes Sustainability Fund deadline is in early December
The Invasive Alien Species Partnership Program (IASPP) Call for Proposals for 2012-2013 is open. Environment Canada will be accepting applications for funding until 5:00 p.m. EST November 21, 2011 for projects beginning in the 2012-2013 fiscal year.
The following provinces have funding available under their Environmental Damages Fund: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan.
Keep checking the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) website for funding opportunities including doctoral and masters awards, planning and dissemination grants and operating grants.
Final reminder that the National First Nations Environmental Contaminants Program (NFNECP) and Drinking Water Quality Program (DWQP) proposals are due November 15th.
